Meet Our Instructors:
Amanda Weaver:
Amanda Weaver started as a volunteer with Horses Help in 2004 and just received her NARHA Therapeutic Riding Instructor Certification in February 2009.
She grew up riding hunter/jumper and dressage and is currently part of the Eventing Division of the Arizona State University Equestrian Team.
She attends the Barrett Honors College at ASU and is seeking her degree in English Linguistics and Russian with a certificate in Russian and Eastern European Studies.
Her time away from school is filled with horse-related activities (like playing with her gray Thoroughbred, Billy and being at Horses Help, of course!) and with martial arts training (she teaches and is training for her next black belt).
Amanda substituted in caring for the herd while Lisa was out of the country in summer ’08, and is very excited to now join the team of Certified Instructors!
Happy Birthday Horses Help 25 Years!
