Meet Our Instructors:
Meghan Dorsey Meghan Dorsey has volunteered in therapeutic riding facilities since early 2000 while living in Washington state. She originally became interested in therapeutic riding because of her love of horses, but stayed with the program when she realized the psychological benefits, not only to riders, but to volunteers as well. Meghan began as a volunteer at Horses Help in 2006 and became a NARHA certified riding instructor in late 2007. Meghan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2006 and is planning to go back for a Masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology in 2009. When not at Horses Help, Meghan spends her time as a Project Coordinator for a Consulting Firm in Phoenix and hiking the various mountains around the valley, as well as other states across the country, she hopes to one day hike every mountain in the U.S. Meghan is currently our NARHA State Representative.
