Planned Giving Program:Planned giving offers additional ways to make charitable gifts beyond direct cash contributions and typically carries additional tax benefits. The most common form of planned gift is a bequest in which individuals designate Horses Help as a beneficiary in their wills. Charitable annuities and trusts offer income for life and immediate tax benefits while gifts of appreciated assets (e.g., securities, land), can help avoid capital gains taxes while providing a tax deduction on the present value of the asset. Individuals can also designate Horse help to be a beneficiary of their life insurance policies.
