Meet Our Instructors:

Michelle Harrison:

Michelle Harrison is a part-time therapeutic riding instructor at Horses Help and certified through the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA). She is also the head riding instructor and director of community relations at Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship in Scottsdale, where she has been working full-time since 1999. Michelle is a graduate from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. She’s a mother of two children, a dog and two cats; wife of one; steward of many horses, chickens, ducks and desert wildlife. The photo is a self-portrait of Michelle and Nicholas. They don’t exactly own each other, but they have definetly adopted one another! One of her favorite quotes is by Eleanor Roosevelt: You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
