Volunteers at Horses Help come in all different shapes and sizes, large groups, individuals and families too! Whatever is in your heart we have a job for you. We welcome your willingness to help in our programs allowing our community of special needs riders to achieve their dreams while fulfilling your quest of being a part of something very special. No matter what your talent, we can make great use of it here at Horses Help!
Volunteer committees and jobs are designed to give each volunteer an opportunity to make use of their personal talents and fulfill their reason for volunteering. The time commitment is up to the individuals and dependent upon where they wish to help out. Here are a few options available to our volunteers:

- Horticulture Team

- Facility Maintenance
- Luna Lunatics
Horses Help can also help you complete a college internship
or high school community service
requirement. Students from the following local colleges and high schools have completed hours with us:

- Scottsdale Community College
- Xavier College Preparatory
- Arizona State University
- Pinnacle High School
- Paradise Valley Community College
- Notre Dame Preparatory
- Scottsdale Preparatory Academy

All volunteers (18 and over) working one on one with our clients must fill out the Special Olympics Arizona Class A Volunteer Application. Please turn this in with your Horses Help Application, we will take care of the rest!
Note: Please list Horses Help as your delegation, Leah Smith as the contact and select Coach where applicable.
Additionally, all volunteers must complete the Special Olympics Arizona General Orientation Quiz and the Special Olympics Protective Behaviors Training Course. The links can be found below, please be sure to write the date you completed the training/quiz on your Horses Help Volunteer Application.
