Therapeutic Riding Instructor Training (TRIT) Program
Horses Help prides itself in providing quality Therapeutic Riding Instructor Training (TRIT) to those seeking to obtain their PATH International Registered Instructor Certification. Successful completion of the Horses Help TRIT Program will result in 25+ supervised teaching hours that are required by PATH to apply for Registered Instructor Certification.
Horses Help has very limited space in the TRIT Program and sets high standards for all those going through training. Our Certified Instructors and experienced Staff invest countless hours in each TRIT and we strive to provide quality, one-on-one instruction to each TRIT. The program fee covers all of your training time at Horses Help whether it takes you 6 months or a couple of years.
Program Fee: $250 ($50 Application Fee will be put towards Program Fee)
Program Length– expect 6 months -1 year of commitment*

PATH Registered Instructor Workshop and Certification fees are not included in the Horses Help TRIT Program. All other fees associated with becoming a PATH Intl. Instructor are the responsibility of the TRIT.
Instructor Prep Classes
Throughout the year Horses Help offers various classes geared towards those preparing to seek Instructor
Certification, those needing continuing education hours, and those in the community wanting to learn more about the effectiveness and methods of the Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) industry.
Classes are often a combination of lecture and hands on demonstrations and vary from 1.5-3 hours in length depending on the topic.
