Horses Help is especially proud to have been selected to participate in a one year education program regarding endowments. The Arizona Endowment Institute selects organizations through a rigorous interview process for possible acceptance. Horses Help has been improving its business management and board of director’s oversight and skill sets for many years. Being coached by The Arizona Endowment Institute and our graduation in 2018 solidifies one of the final components for sustainability insuring our bright future.
After careful thought and input from our constituents, the naming of our Endowment became a marketing project that led to a variety of names. It was decided that the Gift Horse would be the best name for heartfelt gifts coming to the center. Adding strength to the GIFT HORSE name, it was decided to create levels of gifting with the highest promise being named the Pegasus Society.
We are honored to have been selected by Peg Bohnert to become the first family to formally commit a legacy gift. Pegs husband George is honored in fine fashion as George was a vital member of the Horses Help Family and contributed to the progression for bringing us to this point in our journey.
