EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING (EAL)

We have a capable herd and Equine Specialist team ready to support individuals in their Equine Assisted Learning lessons! This approach is not therapy, but teaches individuals life skills in education, coaching, and personal development, as well as corporate/professional development involving groundwork with members of our herd.
Our Equine Specialists structure the lessons based on specific goals that the participant(s) want to achieve. These goals can be attained through bonding and connecting with a horse, grooming a horse, teamwork activities, learning how to halter and lead a horse around an arena with obstacles, or whatever activity the Equine Specialist perceives would be beneficial.

The “K” Gals – Friendship in Full Bloom
Featured in Equine Assisted Learning
This spring, we’re excited to highlight two wonderful participants in our Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) program, Kristina and Kaydence, fondly known as the “K” Gals!
Kristina has been coming to Horses Help for quite some time, but recently she and Kaydence, close friends outside the barn, decided to try semi-private EAL lessons together. It’s proven to be a fantastic decision, bringing out beautiful moments of growth and connection.
Their time together has deepened their friendship with even more respect, teamwork, and mutual care for each other and the horses. We’ve seen them help one another problem-solve, share leadership roles, and approach each session with both kindness and fairness. It’s been heartwarming to witness how they both teach and encourage one another.
EAL can be an amazing way to strengthen friendships, sibling bonds, work relationships, and more. With the guidance of our incredible equines, we’re able to explore trust, communication, and connection in ways that are both real and grounding.
