Our very own Equine Specialist Bri has been awarded the Marjorie V. Kittredge Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy and Equine-Assisted Learning Scholarship which is given annually to one applicant who has demonstrated leadership within the Equine Mental Health Industry. Marjorie is noted as being the first therapeutic riding center founded in the US. She started with three horses in 1964 on a 195-acre property in MA where she worked to expand many services for students with emotional and physical challenges. The requirements for this scholarship were for the PATH member to write an essay expressing their contribution to mental and physical health awareness by providing equine based activities to promote wellness. Bri was chosen out of over 200 applications by PATH to be awarded this scholarship which will cover her registration and workshop costs at the 2022 PATH International Conference in St. Louis, MO on October 28-30. This is a huge honor, and we are very pleased to have her as a part of our team! Go Bri!
